Tracking late-week t-storm chances

Periods of sunshine and low 80s Wednesday afternoon will give way to a fair and dry night, with lows in the mid to upper 60s and southeast winds at 10 to 15 mph. A humid airmass will push back into Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas to finish out the work week, helping trigger scattered rain and thunderstorm chances both Thursday and Friday. Between passing t-storms and hot, muggy conditions are expected each day with highs in the mid to upper 80s and a mix of clouds and sunshine. Rain chances will briefly diminish on Saturday, before renewed opportunities for scattered storms return in the extended forecast, along with persistent warmth and afternoon heat.
