Tracking more heat on Tuesday

Well if you thought Monday was hot, Tuesday will be another day to take the heat seriously across northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri. A strong high pressure remains in control across the central United States, keeping our weather dry and making temperatures soar well above normal.

Tuesday morning temperatures will start off in the mid-70s, meaning there won't be much relief from the heat. As we get into the afternoon we will see those temperatures rise into the mid 90s by the afternoon and combined with the high humidity it will feel like 105 to 110 degrees.

An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect for the rest of the week for all of northeast Kansas and all of northwest Missouri until Friday at 7pm.
