Tracking a sunny and warmer Tuesday

Tuesday is shaping up to be another beautiful midsummer day across much of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. We will start the morning with comfortable temperatures with readings in the upper 60s under mostly clear skies.

As the day goes on we will expect plenty of sunshine with just a few fair-weather clouds drifting by. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s but the humidity will remain on the manageable side making it feel comfortable for early July.

The warming trend continues on Wednesday with high temperatures climbing into the lower 90s by the afternoon before chances for more showers and thunderstorms move into the forecast.
