Tracking a sunny and hot Monday

Get ready for a hot, humid and mostly sunny Monday across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri. we have a Heat Advisory that is in effect until 9pm Monday nigh and we can expect it to feel like 105 to 110 degrees across the area.

We will begin the day with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the mid 70s. By the late morning we will see the temperature start to rise into the mid to upper 90s with the forecast high of 96 degrees between 3 and 5pm.

Humidity will make it feel uncomfortable outside, especially during the afternoon. Monday evening will remain very warm with temperatures close to 90 degrees by 8pm.
