Tracking a break from the heat on Tuesday

After a very hot start to the week, we will finally notice some improvement in our weather across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri on Tuesday.

The day should begin with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Skies will be partly sunny through the morning, with a mixture of sunshine and clouds in the afternoon.

Temperatures will still climb into the lower 90s, with a forecast high of 91 degrees. While that is hot, the good news is the humidity levels are expected to come down. That should make Tuesday feel a little more comfortable than Monday's heat.
