Tracking a sunny and warmer Friday

We will start the morning with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s under a mixture of sunshine and clouds. The humidity will be noticeable early in the day making it feel pretty uncomfortable across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri.

We will have a few passing clouds during the day but we should get right back into the sunshine. A light south breeze will not provide much relief from the humidity. Heat index values could climb back into the mid 90s.

By the evening we will see a few more clouds move in and we have a slight chance of seeing some scattered showers and thunderstorms. The weekend looks sunny and hot with high temperatures in the mid 90s.
