Tracking Summer Heat on Saturday

Saturday is shaping up to be another hot and humid day, with a coupe of chances for showers and thunderstorms across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri.

We will start the day very warm and muggy, with temperatures in the mid 70s. There could be a scattered shower or thunderstorm early, especially during the morning hours, but most location will stay dry.

The heat quickly moves in by the afternoon with our high temperature climbing into the mid to upper 90s and the heat index could reach between 105 and 110 degrees.
