Tracking slight chances for rain Saturday

Saturday is shaping up to be another warm and humid August day across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri, but overall the weather should be good for most outdoor plans.

We will start the morning with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s and skies should be a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Now there could be a few scattered showers and thunderstorms across the area that have moved in from Nebraska overnight and that could give us some moisture early in the day.

By the afternoon temperatures will climb back into the mid to upper 80s with the sunshine moving back into the area and with the humidity being on the high side it will feel pretty uncomfortable during the afternoon hours. Sunday still looks cloudy but dry across the area.
