Tracking another Hot and Humid Wednesday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

Wednesday is going to be another very hot September day across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. The afternoon temperatures will continue to reach into the mid to upper 90s during the afternoon.

We will start the morning warm, with temperatures in the mid 70s, before we quickly start to heat up under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will already be well into the 80s and lower 90s by the early afternoon.

The biggest weather story will continue to be the late summer heat. with temperatures near 100 degrees, the national weather service has issued a Heat Advisory for the area and that will continue until the end of the week. There looks to be not much of a break in the heat as temperatures will continue in the mid 90s all week long and into the weekend.
