Tracking a mainly dry Monday, returning rain chances

Abundant sunshine has made for a beautiful Easter Sunday across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas with gentle breezes and afternoon highs near 60 degrees. Skies will remain mostly clear tonight with lows falling into the upper 30s late. Passing clouds arrive Monday between periods of sunshine with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s and light northerly winds. Light rain chances return Monday night, with a chance for a few snow showers to mix in after midnight, into early Tuesday morning. Minor snow accumulation of up to a dusting is possible, generally along and north of Highway 36. Spotty low-end rain chances and seasonable temperatures continue Tuesday, before warmer air arrives Wednesday ahead of an active pattern slated to being more widespread rain and thunderstorm chances late week.
