Tracking lingering rain and t-storm chances

After a round of thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall in parts of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Saturday morning, mainly dry skies have returned for the afternoon. Scattered t-storm chances will continue Saturday evening, with a low-end threat for pockets of hail and gusty winds. Saturday night will offer a reprieve from rain chances with passing clouds and lows near 60 degrees. Another round of scattered to widespread showers and a few embedded thunderstorms is possible Sunday morning and afternoon, with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 70s. Southerly winds will pick up Monday paired with mostly sunny skies, allowing temperatures to warm into the 80s. Spotty t-storm chances and a potential for severe thunderstorms could be in the cards by Tuesday.
