Tracking a warm Monday and pm thunderstorm chances

Good morning and happy Monday.

It’s a warm start as you head out the door, with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. We’ll warm up quickly today, with highs climbing into the low 80s.

Later tonight, a cold front will move in, bringing the chance for a few thunderstorms. We’re currently under a Level 1 out of 5 risk, with the main threats being gusty winds and small hail.

Behind that front, temperatures will drop significantly—more than 20 degrees cooler for Tuesday, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s, and similar temperatures continuing into Wednesday.

We’ll begin a warming trend in the latter half of the week, with highs returning to the upper 70s by Saturday and Sunday.

We also have multiple chances for scattered rain throughout the week. Tuesday will be the first and most likely day for showers during the daytime hours, with rain chances lingering into Wednesday before we dry out Thursday.

Rain chances return again by Saturday evening and continue into Sunday.
