Tracking a mild and sunny start to the work week

Mostly sunny skies and cool breezes have made for a pleasant Sunday across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas with a nice break from June heat and humidity. Dry skies continue overnight with lighter winds and lows falling well into the 50s by early Monday morning. Sunshine will persist to start the work week with a modest warming trend taking place. Highs Monday afternoon will rise into the low 80s. Skies remain mostly dry on Tuesday with increasing clouds and a 20% chance of stray showers or t-storms and highs once again in the low 80s. Wednesday brings a spike in heat and humidity, along with a chance for scattered storms that could be on the strong side.
