Tracking a sunny and warm Monday

Good morning and happy Monday!

As you're heading out the door this morning, we're enjoying a calm and quiet start to the day. Winds are light out of the south, temperatures are comfortable in the low to middle 60s, and skies are mostly clear. A few spots could see some patchy fog before sunrise, but overall it's a great start to the morning.

By 8 a.m., we'll have plenty of sunshine with temperatures climbing into the upper 60s and lower 70s. By lunchtime, we'll warm into the lower to middle 80s under mostly sunny skies, making for a beautiful day to spend some time outside.

Highs this afternoon will reach around 88 degrees. It'll be a little more humid than this weekend, but still much more comfortable than the heat we experienced last week.

Humidity continues to build on Tuesday as highs return to the lower 90s. Our next chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives Wednesday with a cold front, and a few additional rain chances linger into Thursday and Friday.

Behind that front, temperatures cool back into the lower to middle 80s before sunshine and warmer weather return next weekend.
