Flood Warning issued April 27 at 9:38AM CDT until May 1 at 10:37AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Missouri River At Miami affecting Chariton, Saline and Carroll
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Miami.

* WHEN…From Tuesday afternoon to late Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas outside of levees
begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– There is no current observed data.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 20.9 feet early
Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Thursday morning.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
