Flood Warning issued June 5 at 9:08AM CDT until June 7 at 11:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

102 River at Maryville affecting Nodaway and Andrew Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…102 River at Maryville.

* WHEN…From Saturday afternoon to late Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, The east bank of the river floods. Water
also approaches the village of Arkoe.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 14.8 feet this afternoon.
It will then fall to 13.1 feet just after midnight tonight.
It will rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to
19.0 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood
stage late tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
