Flood Warning issued June 10 at 2:02PM CDT until June 15 at 1:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Agency.

* WHEN…From late tonight to late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to
flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage just after
midnight tonight to 25.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall
early Friday morning. It will rise to 27.3 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday
morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
