Flood Warning issued June 11 at 8:05PM CDT until June 13 at 10:10AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

102 River at Maryville affecting Nodaway and Andrew Counties.

Tarkio River at Fairfax affecting Atchison and Holt Counties.

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

102 River at Rosendale affecting Buchanan and Andrew Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Tarkio River at Fairfax.

* WHEN…Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Low-lying farm fields begin to flood. At
18.0 feet, U.S. Highway 59 north of Fairfax begins to flood. At
19.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Corning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.5 feet
just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
