Flood Warning issued June 14 at 5:01AM CDT until June 16 at 12:15PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Agency.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to
flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 4:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 20.9 feet this morning. It will
then fall this afternoon. It will rise to 22.8 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
