Flood Warning issued October 1 at 2:10PM CDT until October 6 at 1:12AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

102 River at Rosendale affecting Andrew and Buchanan Counties.

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Platte City.

* WHEN…From late tonight to late Monday night.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Cropland near State Highway 92 near Platte
City begins to flood. At 22.0 feet, Flooding occurs at Humphreys
Access Area which is located 5 miles downstream from Platte City.
300 acres of pasture are also flooded. At 25.0 feet, Water overtops
1st Street in Tracy, Missouri.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late tonight to
23.5 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Monday morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
