Flood Warning issued October 1 at 9:03AM CDT until October 5 at 8:30AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

102 River at Rosendale affecting Andrew and Buchanan Counties.

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.

Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River at Sharps Station.

* WHEN…From late Friday night to Monday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 26.0 feet, Low-lying rural land along the river begins
to flood. At 29.0 feet, Backwater from the Platte River floods
Highway KK along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles
east of Highway B.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
Saturday morning to a crest of 28.0 feet Saturday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
