South Harrison High School hoops sweeps Stanberry on senior night

(BETHANY, MO) – The South Harrison High School basketball teams hosted Stanberry in a meeting of GRC and GRC West teams Monday night.

The South Harrison girls win 53-48.

Senior Lexi Hunter led South Harrison with 20 points, followed by senior Abby Owens with 11 points. For Stanberry, sophomore Kynzee Adcock led the team with 14 points, followed by freshman Katelyn Shisler with 13 and sophomore Allie Schieber with 11 points.

South Harrison improves to 14-7 on the season, and Stanberry drops to 19-4.

In the boys matchup, South Harrison came away victorious as well, winning 61-44.

Senior Jett Cornett led South Harrison with 21 points, followed by senior Brody Templeton with 19 points. For Stanberry, junior Parker Ginther led the Bulldogs with 14 points and sophomore Brant Jensen had 10.

South Harrison improves to 12-10 on the season and Stanberry falls to 9-13.

South Harrison next plays at Putnam County on Thursday, February 12th and Stanberry plays at Rock Port on the 12th.
