ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Missouri Western State University is holding an artistic exhibition in Spratt Hall until May 1.

"Horizons" shows off a selection of printmakers from the Eickhorst Print Collection and aims to explore the line between the earth and the sky.

The Eickhorst Print Collection holds over 1,000 art prints collected by William Eickhorst, professor emeritus, who served on MoWest's faculty for 28 years.

The University Gallery was established in 2018 to house the collection.

An opening reception is set to take place in the gallery from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, in Room 211 of Spratt Hall.

Both the reception and the exhibition are free of charge to the public.

The gallery will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
