Stolz awarded 500m gold after record-setting skate in Milan

For the second time at the 2026 Games, rivals Jordan Stolz and Jenning de Boo finished 1-2, with Stolz coming out on top. Canada’s Laurent Dubreuil claimed bronze for Canada’s first Olympic 500m medal since 1998.
