Local non-profit opens program for upcoming Kindergarten students

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- United Way of Greater St. Joseph is offering its "KinderClub" to schools in Buchanan and Andrew counties.

The program is available to assist children entering Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.

Sessions are being held at Avenue City Elementary, Mid-Buchanan Elementary, North Andrew Elementary, St. James Catholic School and St. Paul Lutheran School on different days and times throughout March and April.

All sessions are free and will cover readiness skills and important information for the children to make sure they feel confident for the start of the school year.
