Tracking a cold and sunny Sunday

Despite plenty of sunshine, below average temperatures will continue to remain in place across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas through the weekend and into early next week. Blustery northwest winds will lead to bitterly cold wind chill values, with feels-like temperatures falling into the teens after sunset tonight, and single digits by Sunday morning. Wind chills will remain in the teens for much of Sunday with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s. Polar air will linger into Monday, before a rapid warming trend arrives by Tuesday bringing an increase in cloud coverage and minimal rain chances through the middle of next week.
