St. Joseph Public Library hosts online safety seminar for seniors

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The East Hills Library will host a free nline safety seminar for seniors featuring cybersecurity specialist Byron Gorman.

The event is set to take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, at 502 N. Woodbine Road.

Attendees will learn how to identify and avoid online scams, along with tips for staying safe online.

The seminar will also cover common tactics scammers use to steal personal information and money, and how to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Gorman will draw on his 27 years of experience and expertise in cybersecurity and digital forensics to provide actionable insights for attendees.

The seminar for adults is two hours long, and registration is required.
