Two-vehicle crash injures three in Gentry County
GENTRY COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- Three men were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Gentry County Thursday morning.
The 28-year-old male driver of a 2018 Ford F150 was northbound on U.S.-169, near King City limits. The 26-year-old male driver of a 2011 GMC Sierra with a 56-year-old male passenger was southbound on the highway.
The crash occurred when the driver of the Ford crossed over the center line, where the driver of the GMC attempted to avoid the collision; however, the driver of the GMC was struck head-on in the southbound lane, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
Both the Ford and the GMC came to rest on their wheels in the southbound lane of U.S.-169.
The driver of the Ford sustained serious injuries and was transported by Grand River Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care.
The driver of the GMC sustained moderate injuries and was transported by DeKalb-Clinton EMS to Mosaic.
The passenger of the GMC sustained serious injuries and was transported by Grand River Ambulance to Mosaic.
All three individuals were not wearing seatbelts, according to the crash report.
