Tracking Monday sunshine, t-storm chances late Tuesday

Cool and dry conditions Monday morning will give way to a nice warm-up with plenty of sunshine, southwest breezes, and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. Temperatures remain warm Tuesday with increasing clouds and a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms for the evening and overnight hours. A few storms may be strong late Tuesday, with gusty winds, hail, and heavy rainfall the primary hazards locally. Cooler air arrives Wednesday as highs return to the 50s and rain chances linger early, followed by an afternoon drying trend.

Monday: Mostly sunny and breezy. High 77.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy, 60% PM t-storms. High 80.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy, 40% AM showers. High 52.
