Benton girls hoops punch their ticket to the Class 4 Final Four

LIBERTY, Mo (KQTV) -- The Lady Cardinals are heading to Colombia, Mo. next week for the Class 4 State Semifinals after defeating the Oak Grove Panthers, 69-37.

It was a tight one in the first quarter with Benton leading only by four, but after a 13-0 run to start the second quarter, the Cardinals ran away with this one.

Senior Eliana Arambula led the way for Benton with 18, followed by sophomore Jenna Cox with 16 and junior Jalynn Brown with 11. Junior Addisyn Marsh did the heavy lifting on the offensive end for the Panthers as she finished the game with 20.

Benton now goes back to a familiar place as this is the fifth time in the last six years that the Lady Cardinals have made Final Four. Benton will now play the Doniphan Donettes in the Semifinals on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Mizzou Arena.
