Maryville native named to MIAA Hall of Fame Class of 2026

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KQTV) — A Maryville, Mo. native has spent more than three decades as a basketball official and will be inducted into a Division II conference Hall of Fame in June 1.

Terry Oglesby started officiating college basketball in 1998 at the NAIA level before joining the MIAA level in Division II soon after.

On June 1, the MIAA will induct Oglesby into the conference's Hall of Fame on June 1.

He spent several years officiating in the MIAA and turned that success into opportunities at the Division I level. Oglesby as officiated in the Big Ten, SEC, Big 12, ACC, American and Sun Belt conferences.

Besides officiating games, Oglesby has also been a responsible for overseeing other officials at different college levels.

He has officiated six NCAA Final Fours and each of the last four NCAA championship games.
