MoWest Student Organization hosts holiday event

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- Griffon Athletics Student Athlete Advisory Committee held an easter egg hunt at Missouri Western State University on Sunday Morning.

Parents brought their children to the Spring Sports Complex to hunt for easter eggs a week before the holiday.

Bethani Grove, President of Griffon SAAC, was all smiles and happy to host the event.

"This is one of these community service events that we don't charge for," Grove said. "It's pretty much just to give back to the community that has been so gracious to us."

MoWest SAAC laid out over a thousand eggs across the sports complex for the children to pick up.
