Northwest Chief of Staff joins National Board of Directors  

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV)-- Jacob Wood, the chief of staff at Northwest Missouri State University, has been elected to the board of directors for the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education or NAPAHE.

He was selected during the group’s 39th annual national conference and business meeting, and he’ll serve a three-year term that runs through 2029.  

In his role at Northwest, Wood will work closely with the university’s president and executive leadership team, helping move key priorities and initiatives forward.  

He’s also a proud Bearcat alumnus, having earned his bachelor’s degree in mass media with an emphasis in multimedia journalism in 2017 and later completing his master’s degree in recreation with a sports management emphasis in 2024.
