Tracking a cloudy and cooler Tuesday

A cooler and windy day on tap for our Tuesday across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri, as a shift in the weather pattern keeps temperatures below average.

We will see mostly cloudy skies for much of the day, with afternoon highs reaching into the upper 50's. Winds will be gusty at times adding a chill to the air especially during the morning and early evening hours.

Overnight temperatures will dip into the upper 40's, keeping conditions mild but still on the cool side for April. A warming trend returns midweek along with chances for rain and thunderstorms.
