ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- The Buchanan County Clerk has reported the second round of data for the 2026 April General Election voter turnout.

Across St. Joseph and Buchanan County, there have been over 5,700 voters make it to the polls as of 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to County Clerk Mary Baack-Garvey.

This is 10.4% of registered Buchanan County voters, up from the 4.8% reported at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Central Christian Church is still reporting the highest number of votes with 1,019 cast as of 3 p.m.

Baack-Garvey predicted there will be a 23% voter turnout for this election. The polls close at 7 p.m.
