inspireU hosts evening event for adults

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- A Downtown St. Joseph family center is hosting its second event catered to adults.

The inspireU Children's Discovery Center is holding Discovery After Dark from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 24.

The event is open to any adults who are 21 years or older.

"Our catchphrase is, 'Why should kids have all the fun?', and we'll be doing activities specific for adults," Katherine Patterson-Paronto, director of inspireU said. "We're taking some things that are fun for people and we're expanding it to an adult audience."

Admission for the event is different for members of inspireU and for members of the general public.

Members can purchase tickets for $30 online, or $40 at the door.

General public members can buy tickets for $35 online, or $45 at the door.
