Chamber, City announces Parties on the Parkway lineup

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce and the City of St. Joseph announced the show and artist lineup for the 2026 Parties on the Parkway concert series.

Thousands of residents come out each year during the course of the series to locations along St. Joseph's parkway system.

Attendees are able to enjoy food and drinks, listen to live music and create community. A prize patrol will be available and a new addition this year is the Kids Zone.

Admission is free for each event and pets are also welcome.

Each event will occur on the second Thursday of the month, and band suggestions were taken from the public. Each covers a variety of genres:

  • May 14- 5 to 8 p.m., Southwest Parkway and King Hill Drive (Rain date May 21)
    • Doc's 100 Proof | R&B, Disco & Blues
  • June 11- 5 to 8 p.m., Southwest Parkway and 28th Street (Rain date June 18)
    • Michael Shaun Brown | Country
  • July 9- 5 to 8 p.m., Southwest Noyes and Messanie Street, Parkway A (Rain date July 16)
    • Vinyl Revival | Classic Rock
  • Aug. 13- 5 to 8 p.m., Corby Pond (Rain date Aug. 20)
    • Sentimental Creatures | Alt Rock
    • The Sounds of Mary | Garage Rock
  • Sept. 10- 5 to 8 p.m., Remington Nature Center (Rain date Sept. 17)
    • Cherry Bomb | 80s
