Tracking a warm and dry Sunday

Abundant sunshine Saturday afternoon will give way to a clear and cool night across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas, with lows falling well into the 40s after 10 PM. Periods of sunshine and a gradual increase in cloud coverage arrives Sunday, with southerly breezes promoting a noticeable warm-up as afternoon highs rise into the upper 70s to low 80s. The warming trend continues early next week, ahead of returning rain and thunderstorm chances, starting off isolated Monday, before potentially becoming scattered to widespread Tuesday and Wednesday.
