MoWest, Benedictine College alum Josie Weishaar becomes head coach of Maur Hill Academy girls basketball

(ATCHISON, KS) - Maur Hill Academy in Atchison, Kansas has a new girls basketball head coach and it's a familiar face to MoWest fans. Josie Weishaar becomes the new head coach for the Lady Ravens.

Weishaar was on that MoWest Griffons team that advanced all the way to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament back in 2022. She later played at Benedictine College, leading the program to a conference championship and the NAIA National Tournament round of 32 before becoming an assistant coach there.

Maur Hill will be Weishaar's first head coaching job.
