Flood Warning issued May 18 at 10:12AM CDT until May 21 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

102 River at Rosendale affecting Andrew and Buchanan Counties.

102 River at Maryville affecting Andrew and Nodaway Counties.

Tarkio River at Fairfax affecting Holt and Atchison Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…102 River at Rosendale.

* WHEN…From this evening to Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east side of
Rosendale is overtopped by flood waters. At 19.0 feet, State Route
48 on the east and west sides of Rosendale is under water. At 20.0
feet, State Route 48 is flooded on the east and west sides of town
which prevents travel in or out of town. At 23.0 feet, Homes and
businesses in Rosendale are threatened by flood waters.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:44 AM CDT Monday the stage was 14.5 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 22.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
