Flood Warning issued May 18 at 10:42AM CDT until May 21 at 12:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Grand River near Brunswick affecting Carroll and Chariton Counties.

Thompson River at Trenton affecting Grundy and Livingston Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Thompson River at Trenton.

* WHEN…From Tuesday morning to late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS…At 30.0 feet, Backwater along the Weldon River causes
flooding at Northwest 22nd Avenue and Route A north of Trenton.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.2 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to a crest of 29.1 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
