SJSD official says printing company will reprint misprinted diplomas at no cost

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Following Sunday's St. Joseph School District graduation ceremonies, some graduates discovered that their diplomas had the wrong signatures.

Some Lafayette graduates' diplomas bore the signature of former superintendent Gabe Edgar instead of current superintendent Ashly McGinnis.

Jostens, the company that prints most diplomas for SJSD, is offering reprints to graduates with misprinted diplomas.

KQ2 reached out to the St. Joseph School District on Monday morning and was told that there was a printing issue with Jostens.

The district official said that some, not all, diplomas were affected. The district official confirmed that the district sent the right information to Jostens.
