Tracking tons of sunshine, warm afternoons

Dry and quiet early October weather continues across the Mid-Missouri River Valley for the next several days, featuring lots of sunshine, cool nights and warm afternoons. Daily high temperatures will trend above average by about 10 degrees through the rest of the work week with low to mid 80s each afternoon. Overnight and early morning lows will remain on the cooler side bottoming out in the 50s for most. Winds will remain generally light for the next several days as well. More seasonable temperatures and rain chances will not return until next week, when a more progressive fall pattern finally re-emerges.
