Flood Warning issued May 18 at 8:27PM CDT until May 24 at 7:16AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.

This product along with additional weather and stream information is

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Platte City.

* WHEN…From Tuesday morning to Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 22.0 feet, Flooding occurs at Humphreys Access Area
which is located 5 miles downstream from Platte City. 300 acres of
pasture are also flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 17.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late tomorrow
morning to 21.8 feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall
early Wednesday afternoon. It will rise to 23.2 feet early Friday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
