Grand River near Brunswick affecting Chariton and Carroll Counties.

Missouri…

Grand River near Gallatin affecting Livingston and Daviess
Counties.

Grand River near Sumner affecting Chariton, Linn, Livingston and
Carroll Counties.

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Linn and Livingston
Counties.

Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Jackson, Ray and Lafayette
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Chillicothe.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 35.0 feet, U.S. Highway 65 south of Chillicothe is
threatened by flood water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 32.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.1 feet
this evening. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 35.1
feet on 04/06/2017.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
