Flood Warning issued May 21 at 5:50AM CDT until May 22 at 8:26AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Grand River near Pattonsburg affecting Gentry and Daviess Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Pattonsburg.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 25.0 feet, Low-lying farmland begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 26.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage this
morning and continue falling to 4.5 feet early Tuesday morning.
– Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
