Rock Port baseball loses in the Class 1 State Quarterfinal against Northland Christian

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Rock Port Blue Jays come up just short of the Class 1 State Semifinals as they lose to the Northland Christian Trailblazers, 2-0.

Northland Christian scored two runs at the top of the first inning. This would end up being all they would need to win the Class 1 State Quarterfinal game.

It was a great day on the mound for Northland Christian senior Joshua Wolf. He allowed just one hit and had nine strikeouts in all seven innings pitched. Rock Port junior Case Millsap also pitched all seven innings. He allowed seven hits and had two strikeouts on the evening.

The Blue Jays end their best season in school history with a 23-5 record.
