St. Joseph Mustangs filet the Chillicothe Mudcats with another home win

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) - The St. Joseph Mustangs baseball team held on to defeat the Chillicothe Mudcats on Friday night in a 9-7 victory.

Lafayette High School alum Jayden Little finished 2-for-4 at the plate with 4 RBI for the Mustangs. Anopther Fighting Irish alum, Brayden Luikart went 3-for-5 with 1 RBI. Atchison High School alum Boston Bruce was 2-for-5 with 1 RBI.

The win brings St. Joseph's record to 4-3 and the Mustangs next have the team's annual Alumni Game on Saturday, June 6th at 7 pm at Phil Welch Stadium.
