Buchanan County Agency Road bridge closure extended

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The closure of the Agency Road bridge over U.S. Route 36 in Buchanan County has been extended.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, crews closed the bridge on Monday, June 8, for bridge deck repairs.

The bridge was expected to reopen on Tuesday, June 9; however, the closure has been extended to Thursday, June 11.

MoDOT said the bridge will be closed until 4 p.m. on June 11.
