Flood Warning issued June 10 at 11:56PM CDT until June 15 at 6:08AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Livingston and Linn
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Chillicothe.

* WHEN…From Thursday morning to Monday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Low-lying cropland floods. At 28.0 feet,
Rural roads are under water. At 35.0 feet, U.S. Highway 65 south of
Chillicothe is threatened by flood water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to a crest of 34.2 feet Friday morning. It will
then fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
